is an in-home pet care service.
We're looking for great people who share our obsession with pets and who will provide amazing customer service.
This job is a great fit for:

Students who can care for pets around their course studies.
Retirees who are looking for fulfilling, flexible work that gets them out of the house.
Every day is different in this position, but sitters could expect anywhere from 2 - 10 visits in a day.
We have a large clientele, and we continue to rapidly grow.
We can generally keep a sitter as busy as they want to be.
We try to keep sitters in a 5-8 mile radius of their home, but can be up to 10 miles, so candidates must live within 5 miles of the advertised position.
We will not respond to candidates outside the advertised area.
This is an independent contract position, not an employee position.
Responsibilities and Duties Attend initial consultations with clients, to obtain business.
At these meetings we find out the needs of the client and visits are set up according to the time and services required.
These are not paid.
Do midday dog walks for clients who request service while at work, generally no feeding is required Do multiple vacation visits for dogs and cats which would include feeding the pets, cleaning litter boxes, walking dogs, feeding fish, caged pets etc, pick up mail/packages and bring into house, water plants as needed, light cleaning (clean food/water dishes, sweep up litter box area, light sweeping as needed for pet hair, clean up pet messes, take trash out or bring bins in).
Must do visits during the time clients indicate.
Must have smartphone as will need access to our booking app and will need to check in/out of visits and send picture updates to client at each visit.
Must have own, reliable and insured vehicle.
Must have a clean driving record.
This is a job where driving is required.
Must obtain your own liability insurance (we will show you how).
Must have a lot of love for dogs, cats and other pets! Must be able to work most major holidays and weekends.
We mostly cater to people on vacation.
Qualifications and Skills Must LOVE pets:
dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets etc.
Vet Tech experience is a bonus, but pet care experience is required, this can include having your own pets that YOU care for.
Must be organized.
Must be responsible, reliable and trustworthy and mature.
Must understand pet body language and calming signals.
Knowledgable of pet health and can identify when pets are ill.
Able to provide oral medication to dogs and cats Have computer experience and ability to use booking app.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
