is seeking for a highly skilled and motivated Bid Coordinator to join our team.
The Bid Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining the bid timeframe, ensuring that inputs are submitted on time.
Advise and support prepositioning analysis and input into project go/no-go decisions through providing market analysis, and competitor analysis.
The Bids Specialist facilitates the efficient administration of bids, bid reviews, and associated bid documentation.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Gather information for all materials needed from multiple sources and consolidate proposals.
Create and maintain EXCEL bid templates, including complex formulas.
Ensure bid and proposal documentation is formatted, collated, and presented in a professional manner.
Provide and organize documents for production to ensure accurate sizing / pricing of materials for ordering.
Maintain status of proposals and work with staff to ensure they are reviewed, revised, and reapproved, as necessary.
Maintenance of data, and pricing for accuracy, based on changing specs.
Assist with production of final bid documents and arrangements to supply these documents to the customer within defined tender deadlines.
Monitor bid / quotation throughout the process, providing weekly status / exception reports as required.
Create proposals to help obtain additional business.
Request then provide accurate bid pricing to distributors by the stated due date.
Acquire bid awards, identify, and record items won and lost.
Identify all manufacturer items to be bid on and manufacturers stocked at each distributor.
Review historical bid data such as pricing and competitive information.
Keep updated files for each bidding including all pricing and communication.
Help resolve distributor deductions involving bid pricing.
Provide team with option pricing for appointments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic
Qualifications:
3 -5yrs of administrative support, contracting, buying or related experience in the multi-family construction industry.
High-School diploma or GED.
Knowledge of Construction.
Great verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills.
Great computer skills:
knowledge and proficiency in common office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints (preferred).
Ability to travel up to 35%.
Valid Driver's License.
